About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California. As a bi-cultural/bi-lingual Latina therapist I have had the pleasure of working with children, teens and adults from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a therapist, I am always aware of cultural/minority issues. I utilize a collaborative, strength-based approach that is client-centered and solution-focused. Often I use a combination of models that best fit the need of my client.
I love helping people, who are working on self-empowerment, managing anxiety, and relationship issues. I am a warm, compassionate therapist and bring my personality to sessions. I strive to provide a welcoming place where my clients can be themselves to address and work on their presenting symptoms and challenges. I help individuals work through trauma and cope with the stressors of everyday life. Additionally, I work with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, PTSD, family issues, attachment wounds, and adjustment disorders.
My work is deeply rooted in empowering and supporting individuals on their personal journey as they uncover inner-strengths, increase insight about themselves, their relationships and restoring balance in their lives. I am committed to assisting clients identify and achieve their goals through the use of empathy, understanding, and knowledge gained from my years of professional and personal life experiences
I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I found a love for helping others early in life and my personal experiences brought me to where I am today. I found a passion to helping at risk youth and minorities in underserved communities and it helped open my eyes to the heavy trauma people had to carry on a daily basis.
Since 2016 I have worked as a therapist on the Child and Family team at Kaiser Permanante. My speciality continues to be working with Latinx families, high risk youth, parents, families and young adults. I have a passion working with clients with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD and family conflict.
“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.”
